Hello everyone! this week was great. We went on a lot of exchanges and talked to a lot of people.
The other day I had a real neat experience with the scriptures. I turned to Preach my Gospel and studied the Restoration in the Book of Mormon. I felt a strong Spirit and things really made sense to me. I was really excited to share that Heavenly Father has brought back so much truth so that we wouldn't be blind.

And we found a lady and had the most powerful restoration lesson. The Book of Mormon truly is the word of God brought forth by His power through the prophet Joseph Smith so that we would not be blinded by the craftiness of men.

We went on two exchanges, the second one I trio'd with some Elders in Oxford, one has been out almost 9 months and the other 7 months. I went just because I wanted to. It was so fun! They are some young elders. I didn't realize how long I had been in the mission until that moment. It was such a blast. They asked me questions the whole time and it was a really neat teaching experience. I was way impressed by them.  

Oh also before one of the exchanges we all stayed at the ZLs place and moved all the mattresses outside on the patio. It was pretty cold.

We had a really cool experience with finding this week! We had a thought after we prayed to go visit a family that we contacted a month ago. We knocked on their door and the grandmother let us in. She looked really distraught. She was dealing with a bunch of paperwork to keep her mother in a nursing home because she had a massive stroke, which left blind and deaf. She can't really speak anymore either. We testified of God's love and the Restoration of Christ's gospel. She cried and was at peace. We left a book of Mormon and asked for referrals. Her grandkids she is raising quickly piped up and shared their friends. They walked us over to their friend's house and that mom let us in too! then her kids gave us referrals. It was a fun chase for sure. I am doing very well and its finally starting to get warm.

Hey Everyone! This week was soooo good. We had a Zone conference in Muncie and that was a blast to be in my old area. We went to Indianapolis temple afterwards and that was so neat. I felt the spirit so strong. We had a member call us earlier this week. He had a friend who was going through a really hard time. so we met up with him at the members house and taught the restoration. I felt the Spirit testify through me as we bore witness of Christ's restored gospel and His love. We also were able to go see a family and testify of the Book of Mormon and how we can find peace through it.

I had my own experience of that earlier. I was starting to do college stuff and I got really stressed. I didn't know what I was doing and my questions couldn't be answered. And I didn't know what to do. At the point where I was about to pull out my hair, I realized I hadn't read my scriptures yet! I hadn't involved God in my life. I walked into the Chapel and knelt in prayer. Then I read the Book of Mormon and how it testified of having the power of the Holy Ghost in my life as I exercise faith in Christ. I felt so much peace and relief. I felt the Power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ comfort me through the Holy Ghost. I then said another prayer. The answers came clearly and I felt reconnected with God. Always Read and pray even if you are busy, because you don't want to be busy without Heavenly Father's hand in your life. Love you!

We didn't have much time left in the day on Wednesday so we decided to go and try somebody we met the other week. They weren't home so we knocked on their neighbor's door. Three kids answered and they looked at us and with no hesitation asked, "Are you speedboat salesman?" We laughed and told them we were missionaries. then their mom came to the door and we talked. We testified about how families can be together forever and that God has brought back prophets to the earth and more scripture. 

We have a return appointment for this week. My companion and I both screamed as we got in the car and said a prayer of thanks. I was amazed that because of acting on a small prompting to go see one last person instead of doing something else led to a family having the restored gospel in their home. God lives!

We had MLC on Friday and President had us teach most of it, It went really well. I felt the Spirit testify through me as I bore testimony and shared experiences. I love being a missionary. Life is just so good. I see God's power so evident in my life.

This week flew by. It was a great week. My new companion is awesome. It was sad to see Elder Macfarlane go though. Elder Demke is great. nothing like two kids from Mesa teaching the gospel in Cincinnati.

We have seen miracles with finding and teaching. We also work really close with Elder Holmes and Elder Bee who I am really close with. This point of my mission is almost too perfect. I feel like I am walking with God's power. I am imperfect and nothing in my life is perfect, but I am not having bad days. A lot of the time and maybe most of the time, things never work out the way I plan, but I know I am in God's hand. I have not a bad day.
